Los modelos de irreductibilidad social en la teoría sistémica de Niklas Luhmann

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza comparativamente las contribuciones de la sociología sistémica de Niklas Luhmann al problema de la construcción general del objeto científico de la sociología. Nuestro objetivo es relevar, esquematizar y contrastar dos modelos de irreductibilidad social del autor (el primero intersubjetivista, el segundo comunicativo) e indagar las consecuencias teóricas de ambos. La hipótesis principal del trabajo afirma que Luhmann desplazó el umbral de la irreductibilidad social al pasar del primer modelo al segundo. En términos metodológicos contextualizamos los materiales luhmannianos en el campo sociológico de los años setenta y ochenta y los hemos analizamos desde un perspectiva integrada por los enfoques exegético y comparativo.

This paper comparates the contributions of the systemic sociology of Niklas Luhmann to the general construction of the scientific object of Sociology. Our goal is to identify, to schematize and to contrast two luhmannians models of social irreductibility (the one intersubjetivist, the other comunicative) and to examine its theoretical consequences. Our main hypothesis affirms that Luhmann displaces the threshold of social irreductibility when he goes from the first to the second model. In methodological terms we frame contextually Luhmann’s materials within the sociological field during the Seventies and Eighties, analyzing them from a comparative and exegetical integrated perspective.
