Acerca de La Anunciación de María Negroni y la escritura fragmentaria de la violencia política en la Argentina de los años ´70

Abstract

La Anunciación de María Negroni (2007) es una narración hermosa y caótica que intenta – a partir de una escritura “rara” – reconstruir un fragmento de los violentos años ´70 en Argentina desde una subjetividad quebrada por los mismos sucesos que relata. La historia es la de una militante montonera exiliada en Roma; es el recuento de su sobrevivencia y la dificultad de sobreponerse a la desaparición de su compañero – Humboldt – joven militante de 22 años secuestrado y desparecido en marzo de 1976. La novela se erige sobre un espacio textual plagado de interrogaciones, tachaduras, contradicciones, delirios e incertidumbres; su ars poética se conjuga y contradice con la moral militante de los años ´70 y la posibilidad/imposibilidad de vivir después. Como si escribir resultara inevitable aunque insuficiente para comprender dónde están aquellos que antes estuvieron, por qué uno debe vivir en esa ausencia y cómo se admite un fracaso.

The Annunciation of María Negroni (2007) is a beautiful and chaotic narration that tries – through a “rare” writing – to reconstruct a fragment of the violent seventies in Argentine from a subjectivity broken by the same events it tells. The history is that of a montonero activist in exile in Rome; it is the retelling of her survival and the difficulty to overcome the disappearance of her partner – Humboldt – a young 22 years old activist who is kidnapped and disappeared in March of 1976. The novel sets itself up on a textual space riddled with interrogations, smudges, contradictions, deliriums and uncertainties; its ars poetica is conjugated and contradicts the activist moral of the seventies and the possibility/impossibility to live afterword. As if writing would be inevitable although insufficient to understand where those who were here before are now, why one has to live in the absence and how to admit a failure.
