We present the results of the exploration and description of part of the belief system on which the death of children is mounted and built; attending mainly to how the condition of the little angel is understood. We start from two specific cases: from the traditional practices of November first known as Angels We are and from a workshop on animated classics for children in which the episodes of Casper the Friendly Ghost have been worked. In both cases, the relationship with the figure of the little angel or deceased child is proposed. The population is made up of a total of 250 children from seven to eleven years old from the Province of Corrientes Argentina and South Paraguay. Priority to the ethnographic method, between 2009 and 2019, observations, oral and written interviews, workshops and various recreational actions have been carried out. We account for the construction of the deceased child as an angel and his constant presence in the religious imagination of the population, as well as his ability to return to the world of the living attracted by the play and song of children.
