Oferta educativa desigual y escuelas resilientes

Abstract

La educación es un derecho humano y debe garantizarse de forma inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad. El objetivo general del trabajo es estudiar las desigualdades en la calidad de la oferta educativa de nivel secundario en Bahía Blanca (Argentina). Para ello, se realiza un análisis de conglomerados a partir de un censo oficial y un análisis de estadística descriptiva en base a una encuesta propia. Los resultados muestran desigualdades pero también la presencia de escuelas resilientes (alcanzan resultados satisfactorios partiendo de condiciones desfavorables), con algunas particularidades en cuanto a sus recursos humanos y materiales y su organización y clima escolar.

Education is a human right and must be guaranteed in an inclusive, fair and high-quality way. The general objective of this article is to study inequalities in the quality of the provision of secondary education in Bahía Blanca (Argentina). Towards that end, an analysis was made of conglomerates on the basis of an official census and a descriptive statistical analysis, based, in turn, on our own survey. The results show inequalities but also the presence of resilient schools (which achieve satisfactory results despite unfavorable conditions), with some particularities due to their human and material resources and the organization and climate of the school.
