Alineamientos de argumentos centrales en cláusulas intransitivas y monotransitivas del mapudungun

Abstract

Los alineamientos sintácticos del mapudungun, lengua hablada en el sur de Argentina y Chile, fueron estudiados previamente por Díaz-Fernández (2006) y Zúñiga (2006). Sus análisis llegaron a diferentes conclusiones. Los datos lingüísticos en los que se basó este estudio fueron registrados entre mapuche hablantes de La Pampa (Fernández Garay, 2002), de la provincia de Chubut (Díaz-Fernández, 2003, 2006), Argentina, y los de la novena Región de la Araucanía chilena (Smeets, 2007), Luego de revisar los estudios mencionados más arriba, se pudo concluir que además de los alineamientos planteados por dichos autores, se observan nuevos alineamientos que se dan fundamentalmente al tener en cuenta los índices personales del sintagma verbal que se manifiestan en el sistema inverso que presenta esta lengua patagónica.

The alignments of central arguments in intransitive and mono-transitive clauses in Mapudungun –language spoken in the southern regions of Argentina and Chile– have been previously studied by Díaz-Fernández (2006) and Zúñiga (2006). Their analysis led to different conclusions: the former concludes that the language presents a nominativeaccusative construction, while the latter concludes that the syntactic construction is neutral. From the linguistic data documented in Argentina among Mapuche speakers from La Pampa (Fernández Garay, 2002) and Chubut (Díaz-Fernández, 2003, 2006), and those registered in the Ninth Region of La Araucanía, Chile (Smeets, 2007), it is possible to conclude that, besides the alignments considered by the authors mentioned above, we can observe other alignments specifically detected when considering the personal markers observed in the inverse system that this Patagonic language exhibits.
