Obreros de la poesía: De Marechal a Viel Temperley

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, propongo una aproximación a las afinidades entre Marechal y Viel Temperley a partir de dos contrapuntos (en el sentido de contrastes, pero también de correspondencias) que pueden pensarse como complementarios: en primer lugar, la relación entre el jinete/domador y el caballo, que remite al vínculo del poeta con la creación y que puede servir de vía de ingreso; y, retomando una afirmación de Foffani y a partir de algunas reflexiones de Blanchot, en segundo lugar, el modo en que ambos escritores intentan exponer su obra a los ojos del lector en dos poemarios puntuales: el Heptamerón y Hospital Británico. A partir de tales elementos puede pensarse que, para ambos autores, la poesía constituye una instancia de indagación ontológica que se despliega incorporando lo sutil y lo material, lo espiritual y lo corporal, en un movimiento que se resuelve como tensión en uno y éxtasis en otro

In the present work, I propose an approach to the affinities between Marechal and Viel Temperley from two counterpoints –in the sense of contrasts, but also of correspondences– that can be thought of as complementary: first, the relationship between the rider/tamer and the horse, which refers to the poet's link with creation and which can serve as a means of entry; and, following a statement by Foffani and based on some reflections by Blanchot, secondly, the way in which both writers try to expose their work to the reader's eyes in two specific poems: the Heptamerón and Hospital Británico. From these elements, it can be thought that, for both authors, poetry constitutes an instance of ontological search that unfolds incorporating the subtle and the material, the spiritual and the bodily, in a movement that its resolved as tension in one and ecstasy in the other.
