“Cultura mbyá” para la escuela

Abstract

La materia Cultura Mbyá ha sido incorporada desde 2006 a la curricula escolar de la provincia de Misiones en las escuelas que se enmarcaron en la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, a partir de la regulación de la tarea de Auxiliar Bilingüe Intercultural (ABI). Ellos son actores relevantes de las comunidades, y de las escuelas, ya que desempeñan un valioso rol de articulación entre intereses, deseos y necesidades de las poblaciones indígenas y regulaciones y limitaciones de las instituciones escolares. La materia de cultura mbyá es un espacio simbólico muy potente porque habilita la incorporación de contenidos culturales seleccionados por las comunidades y emplazados en la malla curricular.Nos proponemos aquí dar cuenta de las singularidades que esos contenidos adquieren en diversas escuelas, considerando los sentidos sociales que se expresan en esa selección. A partir de registros etnográficos propios, analizaremos los alcances y limitaciones de estas experiencias.

The Mbyá Culture subject has been incorporated since 2006 into the scholar curriculum of the province of Misiones (Arg.), specifically in schools that were part of the Intercultural Bilingual Education, based on the regulation of the task of Intercultural Bilingual Assistant (ABI). They are relevant actors of the communities, and of the schools, since they play a valuable role of articulation between the interests, desires and needs of the indigenous populations and regulations and limitations of the school institutions. The mbyá culture subject is a very powerful symbolic space because it enables the incorporation of cultural contents selected by the communities and located in the curriculum. We propose here to give an account of the singularities that these contents acquire in different schools, considering the social senses that are expressed in that selection. Based on our own ethnographic records, we will analyze the scope and limitations of these experiences.
