El estado de las escuelas en Salta, “la linda”: La lucha de la comunidad educativa por más y mejores escuelas, 2003-2011

Abstract

El artículo presenta una aproximación a los enfrentamientos por infraestructura escolar en la provincia de Salta entre 2003 y 2011. Se reconstruyen los hechos a través de los registros en la prensa escrita y radial.Se examinan el tipo de acciones realizadas, los sujetos intervinientes yel tipo de reclamos. Cuando fue posible, se detallaron las demandas ylos sujetos interpelados en la protesta. Los Censos de Infraestructuramuestran un elevado nivel de deterioro de las escuelas que reciben unagran expansión de la matrícula. En la medida que los registros lo permitieron, se menciona la participación de sectores de izquierda y/o sindicatos en el proceso de lucha. Se concluye que la mayoría de lasacciones tiene un alcance limitado, situación que podría ser favorecidapor los planes de reparación de ejecución descentralizada.

This article analyzes the different confrontations with claims for school infrastructure in the province of Salta between 2003 and 2011. The facts are reconstructed through the records in the newspapers and radio. The type of actions carried out, the subjects involved, and the type of claims are examined. When it was possible, it reconstructs the demands and the subjects questioned in the protest. The Infrastructure Censuses shows a high level of deterioration of the schools that receives a large expansion of the enrollment. When it was possible, the participation of left parties or unions in the struggle process is mentioned. It is concluded that most of the actions have a limited effect, a situation that could be favored by decentralized execution repair plans of buildings.
