De maestras a alumnas: la circulación de ideas sobre feminismo y socialismo en el corazón de las escuelas normales. Rosario, fines del S.XIX y primera mitad del S.XX

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es mostrar los vínculos entre el magisterio y la agencia feminista que se abre paso en Argentina a fines del siglo XIX. En este caso específico, el artículo se centrará en las experiencias de tres mujeres que, en profuso vínculo con la Escuela Normal N°2 “Juan María Gutiérrez” de Rosario (Santa Fe) se alistaron al movimiento feminista, a la fuerza política del socialismo o a ambas expresiones. Será recuperando los nombres propios de tres mujeres, que analizaremos el papel de las escuelas normales como un espacio que escapaba a lo específicamente pedagógico para dar apertura a discursos contrahegemónicos acerca del estereotipo de mujer en general y de maestra-madre en particular pregonado desde el corazón mismo del magisterio.

The main aim of this study is to show the linkage between the magisterium and the feminist agency that makes its ways in Argentine at the beginning of XX century. In this specific case, the article will be focused on the experiences of three women that, in a profuse relationship with the Normal School N°2 “Juan María Gutiérrez” from Rosario (Santa Fe), joined the feminist movement, the political force of socialism, or both expressions. It will be by recovering the three proper women names, that we will analyze the Normal School roles as a place that escaped from the specifically pedagogic, in order to make its ways to give opening to the counterhegemonic speeches about the general woman stereotypes and particularly, about the teacher-mother concept trumpeted from the own magisterium heart.
