Las representaciones sociales de la tecnología, su enseñanza y su aprendizaje en el nivel secundario

Abstract

En el marco de un estudio realizado con docentes y alumnos de Tecnología, desde el enfoque de las representaciones sociales (rs), a partir de las dificultades que se presentan en relación con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de esa disciplina, generamos un espacio de reflexión para docentes de nivel secundario y llevamos adelante una serie de actividades, entre ellas la indagación de las rs de sus alumnos. En este artículo presentamos resultados alcanzados en el análisis de estas rs ‒identificadas en los estudiantes‒ acerca de la Tecnología, su enseñanza y su aprendizaje. Para esto implementamos dos escalas Likert y una técnica de evocación y jerarquización. Los resultados obtenidos nos han permitido identificar las rs de los estudiantes, infiriendo una relación con la práctica docente. Esto hace evidente la necesidad de que los docentes conozcan las rs de sus alumnos para optimizar su práctica educativa.

As part of a general study on teachers and students of Technology from the approach of Social Representations (sr), making an initial focus on the difficulties related to teaching and learning that discipline, we offered a space for reflection on this topic for teachers of secondary schools and carried out a series of activities, among them an inquiry about the sr of their students. In this paper, we present the results from the analysis of Technology sr –identified in the students–, teaching and learning, done by implementation of two Likert scales and a technique of evocation and hierarchy. The results obtained have allowed us to identify the students’ sr and to try to infer a relationship with teaching practices. The need for teachers to know their students’ sr in order to optimize their educational practice seems evident.
