Las actitudes hacia los Trabajos Prácticos de Laboratorio en la formación docente en Física y en Química

Abstract

El carácter experimental de las Ciencias Naturales y las múltiples posturas de docentes sobre los aportes e inconvenientes de la implementación en educación de los Trabajos Prácticos de Laboratorio (TPL), llevan a investigar al respecto desde nuevas perspectivas. Así, el estudio de las Representaciones Sociales acerca de los TPL y las actitudes asociadas podrían contribuir. En esta investigación se trabajó con un instrumento que incluyó una escala Likert y una técnica de frases incompletas, estas técnicas permiten acceder a las actitudes y opiniones sobre el objeto de la representación. Se trabajó con profesores formadores de docentes. Los resultados obtenidos permiten identificar actitudes favorecedoras y obstaculizadoras para el aprendizaje de las Ciencias Naturales en relación con los TPL. Los resultados evidencian la necesidad de, a partir de los mismos, favorecer la reflexión de docentes formadores, a fin de poder replantear su práctica docente y contribuir con el proceso de formación docente inicial.

The experimental nature of the Natural Sciences and the multiple positions of teachers on the contributions and disadvantages of implementation in the education of the Practical Lab Work (PLW), lead to investigate the matter from new perspectives. Thus, the study of social representations about the PLW and the attitudes associated could contribute. In this research work was done with an instrument that included a Likert scale and a technique of incomplete sentences, these techniques allow you to access the attitudes and opinions on the subject of representation. The results obtained allow the identification of favoring and impeding attitudes for the learning of Natural Sciences about the TPL. The results show that there is a need to, from the same, promote the reflection of teachers´ trainers, to be able to rethink their teaching practice and contribute to the process of initial teacher education.
