Innovar viajando: perspectivas de docentes y estudiantes con respecto a los viajes educativos

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio fue analizar percepciones de docentes y estudiantes respecto de los viajes educativos e identificar tipos deaprendizajes que se promueven, papeles de los participantes y condiciones favorecedoras, al igual que obstaculizadoras, de las propuestas. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo en el que participaron 89personas (20 profesores y 69 estudiantes) de instituciones educativasde nivel primario, medio y superior en la ciudad de Río Cuarto (Argentina). Se utilizaron entrevistas y descripciones anecdóticas redactadas por estudiantes como instrumentos de recolección de datos.De los resultados se destacan las implicancias positivas en los aprendizajes, la diversidad y complejidad de conocimientos disponibles yla posibilidad de contacto directo con el objeto de estudio. Se subraya la importancia de los docentes como mediadores y el papel de lasmotivaciones, emociones e interacciones emergentes en los viajes.A partir del análisis se construyeron tipologías de viajes. Los viajeseducativos amplían las posibilidades de aprendizaje y generan experiencias innovadoras de enseñanza.

The aim of the study was to analyze perceptions of teachers and students about educational trips and identify types of learning that are promoted, roles of the participants and favorable and hindering conditions of the proposals. A qualitative study was carried out in which 89 people (20 teachers and 69 students) from educational institutions of primary, middle and higher level in Río Cuarto (Argentina). An interviews and anecdotal descriptions were used as data collection instruments. The results highlight the positive implications in learning, the diversity and complexity of available knowledge, and the possibility of direct contact with the object of study. The importance of teachers as mediators and the role of motivations, emotions and emerging interactions in travel are highlighted. From the analysis, travel typologies were constructed. Educational trips expand the possibilities of learning and generate innovative teaching experiences.
