Raquel Adler: Misticismo, poesía y naturaleza

Abstract

El presente artículo se propone analizar la poesía religiosa de la argentina Raquel Adler, que se publica en los años veinte, con el objeto de reflexionar sobre la potencialidad de un misticismo femenino, teológico y natural que pone en escena no sólo la relación amorosa con Dios, sino también con la naturaleza como parte ineludible de la creación divina. De este modo, las imágenes sacras que se pueden leer en sus poemas dan cuenta de una creencia que aúna escritura y forma de vida en pos de una ética religiosa que establece un diálogo con el contexto de fuerte revitalización católica que se vive en el país, pero apela al costado afectivo y vital de la religión.

This article aims to recover the religious poetry of the Argentine Raquel Adler, published in the 1920s, in order to reflect on the potential of a feminine, theological and natural mysticism that sets forth not only the love relationship with God, but also with nature as an inescapable part of the divine creation. In this way, the sacred images that can be read in her poems give account of a belief that combines writing and way of life in pursuit of a religious ethic that establishes a dialogue with the context of strong Catholic revitalization that is lived in the country, but appeals to the affective and vital side of religion.
