Ser niño, pobre y homosexual: internado educativo, disciplinamiento y control de los cuerpos

Abstract

Para analizar la realidad histórica que se narra en este texto en contraste con la teoría, se realizó un recorrido teórico por diversos autores como; Erving Goffman, Michelle Foucault, Sergio Bertozzi, Pierre Bourdieu, Judith Butler, entre otros. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una reflexión autobiográfica, la cual consiste en la narración de una vida o la historia hecha por la propia persona sobre ella misma, mostrando su nacimiento, orígenes, acontecimientos importantes, experiencias personales destacables, logros y fracasos (Maganto C., 2012:1), dicha narración se centrara específicamente en la etapa donde viví parte de mi niñez y adolescencia en un internado para menores con situación de vida vulnerable (pobreza, violencia, abandono, etc.). En este proceso se discuten los diferentes mecanismos disciplinarios que ejercen estas instituciones de resguardo y educación, con el encierro como principal característica institucional, también se analizan las diversas relaciones de poder que se gestan al interior de dichas instituciones. Otro aspecto que toma relevancia en este análisis es sobre los procesos de estigmatización que llevan al ingreso y que se viven durante el internamiento. Es importante resaltar que una de las principales motivaciones que tienen este tipo de instituciones en el norte de México, es el de moldear a los cuerpos en una matriz heteronormativa, mediante una maquinaria de disciplinamiento y vigilancia constante que se instala en la vida cotidiana de los sujetos en crecimiento, para tener control sobre ellos y reprimir toda acción que se considere fuera de la norma, basándose en un sistema de valoraciones sexo/genéricas de las cuales se desprenden una serie de binarismos que categorizan y dividen a los sexos en femenino y masculino.

To analyse the historical reality that is narrated in this text in contrast to the theory, a theoretical tour was carried out by various authors such as; Erving Goffman, Michelle Foucault, Sergio Bertozzi, Pierre Bourdieu, Judith Butler, among others. The objective of this work is to carry out an autobiographical reflection, which consists in the narration of a life or the history made by the person itself on itself, showing its birth, origins, important events, personal experiences Noteworthy, achievements and failures (Maganto C., 2012:1), this narration will focus specifically on the stage where I spent part of my childhood and adolescence in a boarding school for children with a situation of vulnerable life (poverty, violence, abandonment, etc.). In this process we discuss the different disciplinary mechanisms exerted by these institutions of protection and education, with the closure as the main institutional feature, also analyze the various relationships of power that are gestating inside of these institutions. Another aspect that takes relevance in this analysis is about the stigmatization processes that lead to income and that are lived during the internment. It is important to emphasize that one of the main motivations that have this type of institutions in the north of Mexico, is to mold the bodies in a heteronormativa matrix, through a machinery of discipline and constant vigilance that is installed in the Daily life of the growing subjects, to have control over them and to repress any action that is considered outside the norm, based on a system of sex/generic valuations of which a series of dualismss that categorize and divide the Sex in women and men.
