Una divinidad poco estudiada: Hygíeia. Testimonios epigráficos y culto en la Atenas clásica

Abstract

Nos proponemos, en el presente trabajo, abordar una figura divina escasamente estudiada: Hygíeia, la diosa griega de la salud. Tras una introducción general, nuestro estudio se centrará en torno a algunos testimonios epigráficos (especialmente áticos) del período clásico, partiendo de los cuales se intentará reconstruir el origen y el sucesivo desarrollo del culto de dicha divinidad en Atenas.The aim of this paper is to approach a barely studied figure: Hygíeia, the Greek goddess of health. After a general introduction, our study will focus around some epigraphic testimonies (especially Attic) of the classical period, from which will be attempt to reconstruct the origin and the successive developments of the cult of said divinity in Athens.
