Feminismo y activismo de mujeres: síntesis histórica y definiciones conceptuales

Abstract

El trabajo propone un recorrido histórico por las diferentes conceptualizaciones del feminismo, desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Se proponen las tres olas feministas, considerando si la primera inicia en el contexto europeo o norteamericano, según distintos historiadores. Asimismo, se plantea la posibilidad del surgimiento de una cuarta ola feminista. Por otra parte, se plantea al fenómeno del feminismo en el contexto argentino desde sus inicios, pasando por los principales hitos del movimiento. Por último, se discute si la expansión del feminismo a partir deproblemas sociales e interculturales, le ha dado al movimiento el poder de considerar y tener en cuenta lasdiferentes necesidades de las mujeres.

The paper proposes a historical journey through the different conceptualizations of feminism, from its origins to the present. The three feminist waves are proposed, according to different historians. Also, the possibility of an emergence of a fourth feminist wave arises. On the other hand, the phenomenon of feminism appears in the Argentine context from its beginnings, passing through the main milestones of the movement. Finally, the expansion of feminism from social and intercultural problems is described, the power to consider and take into account the different needs of women has been made known.
