La justicia de paz en Mendoza : leyes 1872,1876 y 1880

Abstract

El trabajo ahonda en un capítulo del proceso de organización de la justicia de paz en Mendoza en el siglo XIX. El recorrido de los debates, las doctrinas y las leyes propuestas en el lapso que abarca el estudio, muestra las soluciones que, frente a la resistencia y continuidades de antiguas prácticas institucionales, propuso la dirigencia provincial en orden a su organización dentro de los cánones del moderno constitucionalismo.

This paper studies in depth a chapter of the process regarding the organisation of the Justice of the Peace in Mendoza (Argentina) during the 19th century. The trajectory of the debates and the doctrines, and the proposal of laws in the range of time that is considered by our study show the solutions that, facing the resistance of the old institutional practices, were proposed by the provincial elite in order to organise them inside the canons of the modern constitutionalism.
