Historia y Utopía: relaciones vinculantes desde la perspectiva de Agnes Heller

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone como objetivo analizar el rol que Agnes Heller otorga a la utopía en el marco de la Teoría la Historia. Para ello, examinaremos la relación que establece entre futuro-utopía, cambio-utopía y progreso-utopía. Luego del análisis y explicación de estos pares conceptuales, intentaremos determinar las características y funciones de la utopía en relación con la Historia, concibiendo a la misma como una categoría de análisis que permite identificar y definir las expectativas de cambio y renovación de una época o de un grupo social.

The aim of this work is to analyze the role that Agnes Heller gives to utopia in the framework of the theory of history. To accomplish this, the relation she establishes between future-utopia, change-utopia and progress-utopia will be analyzed. After the analysis and explanation of these conceptual pairs, the paper will attempt to determine the characteristics and functions of utopia in relation to history, conceiving it as a category of analysis that allows for identifying and defining expectations for change and renovation for a time period or social group.
