Abstract

EXPERIMENTACIÓN, HISTORIA Y POLÍTICA EN LA NOVELA DESDE RAYUELA (1963) E INTEMPERIE (1973) Palabras claves: Novela Experimental-Historia-Cortázar-Pla Resumen Escrita entre 1966 y 1969 y publicada en 1973, Intemperie de Roger Pla (1912-1982) es una de las más relevantes novelas de la década de 1970-1980. Poco conocida por la crítica académica, la antes mencionada novela fue también un éxito de lectores al momento de publicación, un aspecto notable porque es al mismo tiempo un complejo texto experimental que deconstruye tiempo y espacio para construir nuevas ideas, imágenes y perspectivas acerca de una posible realidad total. Desde este punto de vista, Intemperie tiene relación con una tradición novelística en el camino de Rayuela (1963) de Julio Cortázar (1914-1984), uno de los modelos previos de novela experimental en lenguas y culturas de origen hispano. ¿Cómo podemos leer los subtextos históricos en la línea de novelas como Rayuela e Intemperie? ¿Cómo pensar lo político e ideológico desde los lenguajes y dinámicas compositivas de aquellos textos artísticos? Este ensayo examina diferentes características artísticas y tópicas de Rayuela e Intemperie y sus enlaces con los marcos históricos contemporáneos, donde autores, estructuras textuales, lenguajes y lectores juegan funciones claves. Keywords: Experimental Novel-History-Cortázar-Pla EXPERIMENTATION, HISTORY AND POLITICS IN NOVEL FROM RAYUELA (1963) AND INTEMPERIE (1973) Summary Written between 1966 and 1969 and published in 1973, Intemperie by Roger Pla (1912-1982) is one of the most outstanding Argentine novels of the decade of 1970-1980. Little known by academic criticism, the above mentioned novel was also a reader´s success at its publishing time, a notable aspect because, at the same time, it´s a complex experimental text that deconstructs time and space to build new ideas, images and perspectives about a possible total reality. From this point of view, Intemperie relates to a novelistic tradition in the way of Rayuela (1963) of Julio Cortázar (1914-1984), one of the previous models of experimental novel in Spanish languages and cultures. ¿How can we read historical subtexts in the line of novels as Rayuela and Intemperie? ¿How can we think the political and ideological from the languages and dynamic compositions of those artistic texts? This essay examines different experimental and topical characteristics of Rayuela and Intemperie and their links with contemporary historical frames, where authors, textual structures, languages and readers play key functions.
