Las manifestaciones del doble como problema de la identidad en la encrucijada teórica-literaria latinoamericana

Abstract

Esta tesis se presenta como aproximación a la cuestión del doble como personaje conceptual de la literatura poscolonial. En este trabajo, la temática se aborda como una problemática que traza y constituye el discurso (pos)colonial y las configuraciones de las subjetividades, en el marco del sistema-mundo moderno/colonial. Ese locus donde la noción de identidad se convierte en un cuestionamiento respecto a todos esos elementos y signos que cultural, política, histórica, socio-económica, lingüística y performativamente están implicados como situaciones enunciativas de los sujetos.Esta lectura elabora un dialogo entre literatura, teoría literaria, filosofía e historia para (re)crear las facetas del doble en la encrucijada moderna/colonial. En este caso, La tempestad/Una tempestad representa ese movimiento de desterritorialización y reterritorialización, en el que se pone de manifiesto la cara oscura y ocultada del colonialismo: la colonialidad del poder y sus configuraciones genérico-raciales.En consecuencia, el doble fue analizado desde tres perspectivas: 1) La tempestad/Una tempestad como doble textual; 2) las configuraciones del doble en las relaciones de poder caliban /Prospero /Ariel y la (in)visibilización estereotípica de los personajes las mujeres en la tempestad-; y 3) Caliban, el doble como manifestación del conflicto político cultural.

This thesis is presented as an approximation to the question of the double as conceptual personae in the postcolonial literature. In this work, the thematic was boarded as a problematic that traces and constitutes the (post)colonial discourse and the configurations of the subjectivities in the frame of the modern/colonial world system. That locus in which the notion of identity turns in to a suggestion about all those elements and signs that cultural, political, historical, socio-economic, linguistic and performative are implicated as enunciative situations of the subjects. This lecture performs a dialog between literature, literary theory, philosophy and history to (re)create the facets of the double in the modern/colonial crossroad. In this case, The Tempest/Une tempête represents that movement of deterritorialization and reterritorialization, in which the dark unseen face of the colonialism was manifested: the coloniality of power and their gender-racial configurations. Consequently, the double was analyzed from three perspectives: 1) The Tempest/Une tempête, as a textual double; 2) the configuration of double in the Caliban/Prospero/Ariel power relationships and the stereotypical (in)visibilities of the characters –the women in the tempest-; and 3) Caliban, the double as a manifestation of the political cultural conflict.
