Trabajadores, religión y guerrilla en la revista Cristianismo y Revolución (1968-1969)

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es indagar cómo fueron representados simbólicamente los trabajadores en la revista Cristianismo y Revolución (C & R) entre 1968 y 1969. Se plantea que la clase obrera urbana tomó la palabra en la revista, desplazando en buena medida al discurso pauperista que había predominado en los primeros números, cuando la revista se interesaba en los trabajadores rurales y en el desarrollo del foco guerrillero. Para comprobar este argumento analizaré los reportajes al dirigente sindical Raimundo Ongaro, y la cobertura de conflictos obreros en la revista, que permiten reflexionar sobre la posibilidad de una hegemonía alternativa.

The aim of this paper is to investigate how workers were symbolically represented in the journal Cristianismo y Revolución (C & R) between 1968 and 1969. It is argued that the urban working class took the floor in the magazine, displacing the pauperist discourse which had predominated in the early numbers, when the magazine was interested in rural workers and in the development of the guerrilla foco. To verify this argument, i will analyze the reports on union leader Raimundo Ongaro and the coverage of labor conflicts in the magazine.
