Relatos mediáticos y procesos de activación patrimonial en Argentina

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio sobre el tratamiento que la prensa gráfica local realiza respecto del patrimonio cultural, en el marco del Congreso Internacional de Socialización del Patrimonio en el Medio Rural, realizado en el año 2015, en Benito Juárez, Argentina. Se analiza la cobertura que el único medio gráfico de la ciudad efectúa sobre las actividades previas, las desarrolladas durante el congreso y las posteriores que fueron noticiadas por el diario. Se identifican los modos en que el medio contribuyó a la visibilización y representación de discursos e imágenes sobre el patrimonio local, participando activamente en estos procesos y favoreciendo la comunicación sobre el patrimonio en un sentido amplio y complejo.

This paper presents a study on the treatment of local cultural press in the context of the International Congress for the Socialization of Heritage in the Rural Environment, held in Benito Juárez, Argentina, in 2015. It analyzes the coverage that the only graphical means of the city effects on the previous activities, those developed during the congress and the later that were reported by the newspaper. The ways in which the medium contributed to the visibility and representation of discourses and images on the local heritage are identified, actively participating in these processes and favoring communication about heritage in a broad and complex sense.
