Derivas sociológicas y de las ciencias sociales sobre la prostitución

Abstract

En el marco de la relación múltiple y cambiante que la Sociología ha entablado con la prostitución, este artículo busca repasar apenas algunas de las líneas más significativas en la producción de las ciencias sociales sobre el sexo comercial para comprender las claves de lectura actuales. En primer lugar se abordan algunos hitos en la construcción sociológica de la prostitución como objeto de estudio. Luego se considera el influjo del debate feminista en sus distintas posiciones y también de los movimientos de prostitutas o trabajadoras sexuales. Por último se mencionan algunos temas que se han intersectado con la prostitución y el mercado sexual para finalmente dejar planteadas las vicisitudes y necesidades de esta área.

In the context of the multiple and changing sociology that has engaged in prostitution relationship, this article seeks to review just a few of the most significant lines in the production of social sciences on commercial sex to understand the current reading keys. First some milestones are addressed in the sociological construction of prostitution as an object of study. After considering the influence of the feminist debate in its various positions and movements of prostitutes or sex workers. Finally there are mentioned some topics that are existed intersected by the prostitution and the sexual market finally to make raised the vicissitudes and needs of this area.
