Mujeres y Filosofía en el campo intelectual del noroeste argentino

Abstract

En general las historias de la filosofía en Argentina fueron desarrolladas desde la capital del país fundamentalmente por figuras masculinas a lo largo del siglo XX. Así, las narrativas en torno a la disciplina filosofía fueron escasamente permeables a la inserción de mujeres. El presente trabajo se propone desandar la historiografía oficial de las ideas filosóficas introduciendo las propuestas desarrolladas por mujeres en Tucumán, en tanto polo cultural del noroeste argentino durante las décadas de 1940 y 1950. En este sentido, es posible pensar que sus desempeños intelectuales como figuras alejadas del centro cultural del país, posibilitaron el acceso a los debates filosóficos de su tiempo. Al mismo tiempo, consideramos que el noroeste es una región pionera en la inserción de las mujeres en el mundo académico y sus testimonios resultan novedosos para la construcción de un discurso historiográfico más complejo en torno al desarrollo de las ideas filosóficas en Argentina.

In general, the stories of philosophy in Argentina were developed from the capital of the country mainly by male figures throughout the twentieth century. Thus, the narratives around the philosophical discipline were scarcely permeable to the insertion of women. The present work intends to retrace the «official historiography» of philosophical ideas in Argentina by introducing the proposals developed by women in Tucumán, as a cultural pole of northwestern Argentina during the decades of 1940 and 1950. In this sense, it is possible to think that their intellectual performances, as figures far from the cultural center of the country, they allowed access to the philosophical debates of their time. At the same time, we consider that the northwest is a pioneering region in the insertion of women in the academic world and their testimonies are novel for the construction of more complex historiographic discourse around the development of philosophical ideas in Argentina.
