Las identidades de los emigrantes argentinos en el diario Clarín: la construcción de migrantes diferentes y deseados

Abstract

En este artículo se analizan las construcciones identitarias de los emigrantes argentinos hacia España e Italia producidas por el diario argentino Clarín durante los años 2001-2005. A partir del abordaje teórico-metodológico del análisis de los discursos sociales o sociosemiótica, se reconocieron y estudiaron las regularidades discursivas con las que se elaboraron las identidades propuestas por ese matutino en distintas instancias del proceso migratorio. Particularmente, se analiza aquí la figuración de un emigrante argentino asumido en la partida como diferente al de otros colectivos y cuya presencia sería deseada por la sociedad receptora, que contrasta con el retrato de un emigrante protagonista de una especie de odisea a ser sorteada en la instancia de la llegada e integración en el lugar de destino.

The identities of Argentinian emigrants in the Clarín newspaper: the construction of peculiar and wanted migrants. This article analyzes the construction of identities for the Argentinian emigrants towards Spain and Italy made by the Argentine newspaper Clarín, in 2001- 2005. From the theoretical-methodological perspective of discourse analysis or sociosemiotics, there were recognized and studied the discoursive regularities in the construction of identities made by this newspaper, in different moments of the migratory process. Particularly, the departure, where Argentinian emigrants are haracterized as different from others and wanted by the host society; and the arrival, when this emigrant is presented as an actor going through a kind of odyssey in his destination place.
