Cárcel y universidad: continuidades, tensiones y disputas de sentidos

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone indagar sobre las múltiples relaciones generadas entre dos instituciones tan símiles y disimiles a la vez como la Universidad y la cárcel. Ambas se entrecruzan provocando interacciones, negociaciones y tensiones donde se inscriben disputas por los sentidos sociales construidos en torno a los sujetos que la habitan, ya sean estudiantes, docentes, investigadores o personas privadas de su libertad. En ese sentido, y a partir de los objetivos y la experiencia del Programa “Educación en Cárceles” de la Secretaría de Extensión de la Facultad de Ciencia Política y RRII (UNR), el artículo se interroga cómo, en esa interrelación institucional, es posible construir escenarios en clave de Derechos Educativos y Culturales - tanto en el encierro como más allá de él- y de qué manera se configuran las prácticas y discursos de quienes intervienen en prisión desde dicha perspectiva, en clave de justicia cultural.

The present work aims to research the multiple relationships generated between two institutions like the University and the prison. Both intersect, provoking interactions, negotiations and tensions in wich are registered disputes by the social senses built around the subjects that inhabit it (students, teachers, investigators or prisoners). In that sense, and starting on the objectives and experience of the "Education in Prisons" Program of the Extension Secretariat of the Faculty of Political Science and RRII (UNR), the article questions how, in this institutional interrelation, it is possible to construct posible stages of educational and cultural rights - both in confinement and beyond - and in what way the practices and speeches of those who acting in prison are possible to be thought of in the key of cultural justice.
