Prensa y educación en la Norpatagonia. Una mirada desde el diario Rio Negro

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo consiste en analizar el rol que cumplió la prensa, en este caso el Diario Río Negro en relación a la presentación del Anteproyecto de Ley de Educación (1988) su difusión y al lugar otorgado en particular al gremio docente ―UnTER‖ (Unión de Trabajadores de la educación) sector que cuestionó sistemáticamente esta normativa y profundizó el debate educativo en la sociedad rionegrina que tuvo como escenario el ajuste presupuestario de principio de los 90‘. Durante la etapa de análisis que comprende este Articulo (1989-1992) se advierte como el diario Río Negro, el más importante de la Patagonia, se ubicó como interlocutor de los actores en conflicto y movilizó a la sociedad, asumiendo posturas definidas frente a las medidas tomadas desde el Estado provincial e involucrándose de esta manera con el fortalecimiento de la sociedad civil.

The objective of this article is to analyze the role played by the press, in this case the Diario Río Negro in relation to the presentation of the Draft Law of Education (1988) its dissemination and the place granted in particular to the educational guild "UnTER" (Union of Education Workers) sector that systematically questioned this regulation and deepened the educational debate in the Río Negro society that took place as the budgetary adjustment of the beginning of the 90's. During the analysis stage included in this Article (1989-1992) one can see how the newspaper Río Negro, the most important newspaper in Patagonia, positioned itself as an interlocutor of the actors in conflict and mobilized society, assuming definite positions against the measures taken from the provincial State and thus involved in the strengthening of civil society
