"Eso era lo normal". Ser niño en la dictadura: un debate sobre la subjetividad y la política.

Abstract

El artículo se enmarca en los debates sobre la memoria del pasado reciente y que problematizan los modos con los que las nuevas generaciones han podido vincularse con el pasado reciente y sus implicaciones subjetivas, éticas y políticas. El planteamiento parte de la cuestión ética sobre el lugar del testimoniante y las voces que se reconocen como legítimas en la transmisión, para centrarse en las dimensiones subjetivas y afectivas de la relación con el pasado en clave generacional. Se parte de la pregunta por las formas en que lo dictatorial emergía en la vida cotidiana desde el lugar de quienes fueron niños. En tanto las relaciones generacionales ponen en relieve el tono afectivo y el valor identitario de las interpretaciones políticas y éticas sobre el pasado, se argumenta que las sensibilidades y afectos movilizados en la trama biográfica y filiatoria enmarcan la producción de sentido sobre la experiencia. Para ello se realiza un recorrido que recupera aristas del espacio de experiencias construidas como memoria biográfica por personas que vivieron su infancia durante la última dictadura militar en Argentina y cuyas familias no fueron ni “víctimas directas” ni perpetradores.

This article is part of the debate on the memory of the recent past and that problematizes the modes with which new generations have been able to connect with the recent past and its subjective, ethical and political implications. The argument starts with the ethical question about the place of the testifier and voices that are recognized as legitimate in their communication, in order to focus on the subjective and affective dimensions of the relationship with the past in an intergenerational context. The work is based on a questioning of the ways in which the dictatorship emerged in quotidian life from the point of view of those who were children at the time. To the extent that generational relationships illustrate the affective tone and the identitary value of political and ethical interpretations about the past, I argue that sensibilities and attachments mobilized in the biographical and filial narrative frame the production of meaning about experience. To this end, I undertake a review that recovers the edges of the space of constructed experiences such as biographical memory for people who lived their childhoods during the last military dictatorship in Argentina and whose families were neither “direct victims” nor perpetrators.
