La imagen impersonal: espacio, materia y cuerpo de una resonancia inhumana

Abstract

En la obra de Maurice Blanchot, la literatura es pensada como un lenguaje que se hace imagen. De tal manera, ésta adquiere un estatuto original que la aleja de las concepciones vinculadas a la representación y, sobre todo, a su pertenencia a lo humano. En este trabajo, exploramos la asociación blanchotiana de imagen, literatura y afuera, haciendo especial hincapié en los distintos modos de la resonancia (repercusión, fascinación) que se ponen no ya al servicio de la protección del circuito de constitución de lo humano, sino de lo que lo impugna radicalmente. Explorando los lazos entre imagen y literatura, resonancia y repercusión (leyendo a G. Bachelard), e imagen y cadáver, intentaremos clarificar el alcance de la propuesta blanchotiana de la imagen: cómo su carácter neutro (alternativa a la reducción a una dialéctica entre lo positivo y lo negativo respecto de una capacidad de producción humana de imágenes) y su pertenencia a lo impersonal, hacen resonar lo inhumano en el hombre.

In the works of Maurice Blanchot, literature is understood as a language that has become image. Accordingly, image acquires an original status, away from the concepts connected to representation and from human belonging. In this paper we explore the blanchotian connection between image, literature, and outside, emphasizing the different modes of resonance (repercussion, fascination) that no longer protect human formation but, on the contrary, challenge it radically. Exploring the links between image and literature, resonance and repercussion (reading Bachelard), and image and body, we aim to clarify the scope of blanchotian image: how its neutral character (alternative to the reduction to a dialectic between the positive and the negative regarding the human image-making ability) and its belonging to the impersonal, make inhumanity resonate.
