Relevamiento de la ictiofauna de la Reserva Natural de Fauna Laguna La Felipa

Abstract

Se caracterizó y reconoció la fauna íctica del sistema del arroyo Chucul/Laguna La Felipa, a través de ocho muestreos realizados durante el año 2005. Se registraron 17 especies, dos ellas no nativas (una exótica Cyprinus carpio y otra transplantada Odontesthes bonariensis). El sistema estudiado estuvo dominado por peces pertenecientes al tipo ecológico de aguas quietas y vegetadas. El presente constituye el primer relevamiento ictiofaunístico sistematizado para el área estudiada.

Fish diversity in Arroyo Chucul/Laguna La Felipa system was recognized and characterized applying standardized inventory techniques. Eight samplings were performed in 2005. 17 species were recorded, two of which were non–native species (Cyprinus carpio, exotic species and Odontesthes bonariensis, transplanted species). The system studied was dominated by fish species of eco–types adapted to live in vegetated standing waters. This work constitutes the first systematized diversity inventory for the study area
