La autotraducción en la poesía mapuche como territorio de tránsitos, tensiones y resistencias

Abstract

Este trabajo propone analizar la noción de territorio en la actual poesía bilingüe mapuche desde una doble mirada. En un primer momento, lo abordaremos como metáfora conceptual que permita comprender el proceso de autotraducción desde una perspectiva de tránsito entre espacios culturales. En la segunda parte, analizaremos el territorio como símbolo de testimonio, resistencia y subjetividades en pugna y su tratamiento en el tránsito semántico de ida y vuelta entre los textos en mapudungun y castellano. Para ello recurriremos a textos de los poetas Liliana Ancalao, Elicura Chihuailaf y María Teresa Panchillo.

This article analyzes the notion of ‘territory’ in bilingual Mapuche poetry from a double perspective. Firstly, we take the idea of territory as a conceptual metaphor that allows for the understanding of the process of self-translation from a perspective of transit between cultural spaces. Secondly, we will analyze the territory as symbol of testimony, resistance and struggling subjectivities and its treatment in the semantic movement to and from the mapudungun and Spanish versions of the bilingual texts. We will resort to texts by the poets Liliana Ancalao, Elicura Chihuailaf and María Teresa Panchillo.
