Ideología y ciudad: los imaginarios nacionalistas sobre el espacio público mendocino (1929-1931)

Abstract

En la Argentina de los años '30, el dispositivo imaginario instalado por el nacionalismo como tal de la sociedad una forma común de interpreta la argentinidad, como todo acto promovido y construido desde la hegemonía, implicó entonces una selección de “escenas históricas” que alimentaron tanto la educación ciudadana, como las formas urbanas y la memoria colectiva. “Palacio de Gobierno”, una de las más significativas operaciones materiales y simbólicas que se hicieron desde el centro de poder: el nuevo edificio abandonaría su emplazamiento original en la manzana se frente a la Plaza Independencia, para trasladarse al centro mismo de la gran plaza-parque.

In the Argentina of the 30s, the imaginary device installed by the ruling ideology nationalism, tried to assure the company's total common way of interpreting the past and future. The construction of this argentinidad, involved a selection of "historical scenes" that fueled much public education as urban forms and collective memory. We selected one of the most representative urban areas of Mendoza Plaza Pedro del Castillo, propelling the first "enhancement" from 1863, the core of the old colonial center.
