Amenaza de desempleo y nivel de estrés psicosocial

Abstract

Se estudió la influencia de ciertas variables sociodemográficas tales como: edad, género y nivel socioeconómico sobre el nivel de estrés en una muestra de 200 empleados que estaban atravesando una situación de inseguridad laboral. Los resultados mostraron que además del apoyo social y las estrategias de afrontamiento, las variables anteriormente mencionadas influyen significativamente sobre el nivel de estrés. Finalmente, resulta aconsejable continuar la investigación sobre el estrés laboral individual y colectivo para mejorar una actuación profesional competente en la prevención del estrés en el trabajo. Abstract This paper studies the influence of some socio-demographic variables such as age, gender and socioeconomic level, on stress level. The impact of other relevant variables such as social support and coping strategies, were also analized in connection to stress in a sample of 200 subjects suffering from job insecurity. Results show that the above mentioned variables have a significant influence on the stress level. Finally, it is important to continue the research on collective and individual labor stress, so as to improve competent professional performance en prevention area.
