Miradas territoriales: una lectura sobre el crecimiento urbano de Tona y Centellas

Abstract

La dispersión urbana invade el espacio rural con inmensas urbanizaciones de muy baja densidad. El análisis del territorio a través de su redibujo aparece como un instrumento de conocimiento de la realidad física del mismo, así como de los procesos que en él tienen lugar. El trabajo realizado para la región comprendida por los municipios de Tona y Centellas, en la provincia de Barcelona, pretende abordar el análisis espacial de dicho espacio. Para desarrollar este objetivo se estudia el territorio a través de mapas que nos aportan una mirada física de las transformaciones y nos permiten entender los patrones de comportamiento que en él tienen lugar. El estudio realizado muestra como la superposición e interrelación de nodos, infraestructuras y espacios abiertos ha permitido generar un orden que busca garantizar que el crecimiento futuro no rompa la entidad del espacio abierto.

The urban sprawl goes into the countryside with urbanisations of very low density. The analysis of the territory through its redrawing appears as an instrument of knowledge of its reality as well as the processes that take place in it. The work done in the region covered by the municipalities of Tona and Centellas in the province of Barcelona aims to approach the spatial analysis of this space. To develop this objective the territory is studied across maps that bring us a physical look of the transformations and allow us to understand the standards of behavior that take place in it. The study shows how the superposition and interrelation of nodes, infrastructures and open spaces has allowed to generate an order that he thinks about how to guarantee that future growth does not break the entity of the open space.
