El doble vínculo entre representaciones sociales y comunicación social

Abstract

Este trabajo desarrolla una reflexión teórica cuyo objetivo es elaborar una articulación entre el enfoque de las representaciones sociales propuesto por Serge Moscovici y el fenómeno de la comunicación social. Para este fin, se plantea y analiza la tesis del doble vínculo entre las representaciones sociales [RS] y la comunicación social [CS]. La exploración teórica de esta tesis permite, por un lado, problematizar el rol de las RS en los procesos de comunicación e interacción social; y por el otro, contribuir a elucidar el modo en que las RS se construyen, conservan y transforman a través de procesos comunicacionales de construcción social de sentido.

This paper develops a theoretical reflection which aims to develop a link between Serge Moscovici’s proposed approach of social representations and the phenomenon of social communication. To this end, we propose and analyze the thesis of the double link between the social representations (SR) and the social communications (SC). The theoretical exploration of this thesis allows on one hand, problematize the role of the SR in the process of communication and social interaction and, on the other, contributes to elucidate how the SR was built, preserved and transformed through communication processes of social construction of meaning.
