La práctica docente en los profesores memorables : reflexividad, narrativa y sentidos vitales

Abstract

En el presente artículo presentamos algunos de los hallazgos obtenidos a partir de nuestra investigación referida a la amalgama existente entre formación profesional y valores personales en la buena enseñanza de los profesores memorables del Profesorado en Historia de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. Los profesores de nuestro estudio reflexionan permanentemente en y sobre sus prácticas e intentan crear y recrear un clima de empatia con el estudiante posicionándolo como el centro del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Abordamos esta investigación desde el enfoque biográficonarrativo, puesto que permite reconstruir y reorganizar la experiencia a través de la narrativa, atribuyendo significados al pasado con referencia al presente y a sus concepciones personales. Nuestro propósito es comprender cómo el profesorado construye un saber profesional, por un lado; por otro, cómo la reflexión necesaria puesta en juego puede ser ella misma formativa.

In this article we present some o f the findings obtained from our research referring to the bond between professional training and personal values in the good teaching o f the memorable professors o f the teaching career in History o f the UNMdP. The teachers o f our study constantly reflect on and about their practices and try to create and recreate a setting o f empathy with the students positioning them at the center of the teaching and learning process. This research has a biographical-narrative approach, since it allows to reconstruct and reorganize the experience through the narrative, attributing meanings to the past with reference to the present and their personal conceptions. Our purpose is to understandhow teachers builda professional knowledge, on the one hand; on the other, how the necessary reflection put into play can be itself formative.
