El cuerpo como prototipo de toda resistencia posible: una descripción fenomenológica de la experiencia de lo inhabitual

Abstract

En este trabajo me ocuparé del análisis fenomenológico de lo inhabitual, es decir, aquello que irrumpe en la experiencia de un sujeto encarnado y lo descoloca introduciéndolo en una zona de extrañeza y poniendo de manifiesto la dimensión objetiva de la corporeidad, es decir, la resistencia del cuerpo. Cuento para esto con la conocida descripción merleau-pontyana de la patología y me propongo, en consecuencia, considerar el efecto de la irrupción de lo inhabitual en el ámbito de la normalidad y de la experticia. La pregunta que intentaré responder es cómo logra la subjetividad encarnada reinstituir la familiaridad y la habitualidad.

In this paper I will thematize the experience of the unusual, that is, an experience in which an embodied subject is inserted in a dimension of strangeness that causes the emergence of corporality in its objective aspect, which is the resistance of the body. In order to understand this phenomenon, I take into account Merleau Ponty´s well-known descriptions of certain pathologies. As a result, I intend to apply the description of the experience of the unusual to the domain of everyday life and expertise. My ultimate aim, hence, is to respond to the following question: how can the embodied subject restore experience in its familiar and usual sense?
