La Prisión Preventiva en los Márgenes Judiciales. Justicia Penal, Medios de Comunicación y Autoridades Políticas

Abstract

En el presente trabajo haremos una breve introducción a la definición de la prisión preventiva (en adelante, PP), junto a una serie de trabajos en los que se la estudia dentro de contextos tres relacionados entre sí: América Latina, Argentina y la Provincia de Buenos Aires (en adelante, PBA). Posteriormente, mencionaremos a dos actores que intervienen en la estructuración del problema de la PP por afuera del Poder Judicial (en adelante, PJ): los medios de comunicación y las autoridades políticas.

This article presents a brief introduction to the definition and current state of affairs of preventive imprisonment (PI). Afterwards, two actors that intervene in the structuring of the PI matter from an external position to the Judicial Power in the province of Buenos Aires (Argentina) are dealt with: the media and the political authorities. I go then to describe the relationships that unfold between these and the practices of judicial actors, taking into consideration the accounts by defender, judges and prosecutors.
