This paper exposes the main features of the epistemology of practice, which is an approach and comprehensive framework based on the premise that practice constitutes the foundation of the theory. It combines the model of epistemological practice (MEP), the method of collective construction of strategic knowledge stemming from practice (CCSK), the methodology of the systematization of practice (MSP) and the network of cultural analysis (NCA). The work argues that popular culture is the source of the epistemology of practice; it provides a brief analysis of its genesis; explains some elements of the methodology of the systematization of practice as its fundamental component, and then develops some epistemological principles built on decades of systematized territorial practices.
