Tensiones, contribuciones e intervenciones en la relación capital-capital: el caso de los agentes vitivinícolas de San Juan

Abstract

Hablar de uvas y vinos en Argentina remite necesariamente a la provincia de San Juan, segunda productora de uva, ubicada en la tradicional región vitivinícola cuyana. Allí, la vitivinicultura fue por muchos años la más importante actividad agroindustrial y los conflictos, acuerdos y tensiones entre sus agentes configuraron la historia económica del territorio. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo describir y comprender los agentes vitivinícolas de la provincia de San Juan, y las vinculaciones entre las fracciones intra-clase, seleccionando fundamentalmente la cadena uva-vino y uva-mosto. Para la descripción se realiza una clasificación de los agentes teniendo en cuenta los criterios de tamaño, tecnología y grado de integración. Este trabajo es parte de una tesis doctoral, y tiene carácter de cualitativo, descriptivo y analítico. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó principalmente fuentes primarias, a través de la entrevista en profundidad. En total se realizaron 43 entrevistas a productores, industriales y comercializadores involucrados en el Circuito Productivo Vitivinícola (CPV) de San Juan, 7 informantes claves, entre ellos investigadores de distintas universidades y del INTA San Juan, y 14 a funcionarios y dirigentes sociales pertenecientes a la actividad.

When we talk about grapes and vines in Argentina, we talk about the province of San Juan, the second national vine producer which is located in the traditional wine – maker region of Cuyo. In this place the viticulture was, for many years, the most important agroindustry activity and for this reason, the conflicts, agreements and tensions among the winemakers agents structured the economic history of the zone. This article pretends make a description and understand the wine- makers agents and the different links among the underclass sectors taking, in an special way the grape- wine chain. For the description it has made an agents classification taking in count the size, technology levels, and rank of integration. This presentation takes part in a doctoral thesis and it is characterized as qualified, descriptive and analytic. The methods of searching information were complete and exhaustive interviews as primary information source. It were done 43 interviews with wine makers, members of industries and persons which commercialized the products, All of them take part in the production wine making circuit in San Juan. Also we had 7 important informants like searchers of different Universities and INTA (National agro technology Institute) and 14 social public servants and social ruling which are involved in these activities.
