El Estado en los extremos: contribuciones de la historiografía hispanocolonial y la antropología de la política al estudio del Estado en el siglo XX

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es reflexionar acerca de las contribuciones ofrecidas a las investigaciones empíricas sobre el Estado, por un lado, por la historiografía hispanocolonial y, por otro lado, por la antropología de la política contemporánea. Sostenemos que la producción académica de estas dos disciplinas sociales plantea preguntas y problemas de potencial aplicación al análisis de las relaciones entre el Estado, la política y la sociedad en la historia argentina del siglo XX.

The aim of this article is to refl ect on contributions offered to the empirical research on the State, on the one hand, by the hispanocolonial historiography and, on the other hand, by the anthropology of contemporary politics. We believe that the academic production of these two social disciplines poses questions and problems of potential application to the analysis of relations between the State, politics and society in Argentina’s history of the 20th century.
