This article intends to develop the relationship between nature and politics in the thought of Michel Foucault as the production of the “human” or the living “human” following the particular imbrication proposed by the philosopher between life and power through three fundamental notions of his work: biopolitics, the correlation between social practices of imprisonment, new domains of knowledge, new objects and new subjects, of which modern subjectivity and modern social order would result as the society of normalization and the constitution of the figure of “man” in the interstice of the positivity of the sciences created around it.
