La Estética al servicio de la Socialidad: Sobre la relación entre las concepciones de la Estética de Emmanuel Levinas y Emmanuel Kant

Abstract

El artículo se propone, primeramente, articular en tres momentos las reflexiones de Levinas acerca del decir poético y mostrar la significación estética de cada uno de ellos. En segundo lugar procura destacar tres convergencias fundamentales entre la “estética” de Levinas y la de Kant. La primera mienta como punto de partida de la estética lo Otro que quiebra el orden ontológico. La segunda se refiere al trayecto de la creación estética en tanto ella se dirige hacia el sentimiento del otro en tanto tal. La tercera atañe a la significación universal de todo juicio estético.

The article intends first to articulate Levinas´s meditations on poetic saying in three moments and to show the aesthetic significance of each of them. Second, it attempts to highlight three fundamental convergencies between the aesthetics of Levinas and Kant. The first convergency sets up as a starting point for aesthetics the Other that breaks up the ontological order. The second relates to the course followed by aesthetic creation insofar as it is turned towards the other´s feeling as such. The third convergency concerns the universal significance of every aesthetic judgment.
