Subjetividad e intencionalidad: génesis de un problema

Abstract

La tradición fenomenológica se caracteriza dentro del campo de la filosofía contemporánea por haber re-introducido dentro del debate filosófico del siglo XX, una noción destinada a revolucionar la manera de pensar la relación del sujeto –cognoscente, afectivo, corporal, lingüístico— con el mundo que habita: la intencionalidad.

The phenomenological tradition is characterized by the notion of intentionality, which is associated with other concepts and has been interpreted in many different ways. This paper addresses the question of the subjective dimension of intentionality by tracing back some major points in its phenomenological genesis from Brentano to Husserl to Merleau-Ponty. A path is disclosed which runs from Brentano’s distinction of psychic and physic phaenomena to Merleau Ponty’s blurring of the difference between immanence and transcendence.
