El movimiento estudiantil como objetivo de la represión: Un estudio sobre el caso de la UBA entre 1966 y 1976

Abstract

El movimiento estudiantil fue parte de las convulsiones políticas que sacudieron Argentina entre los golpes de Estado de 1966 y 1976. La Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) resultó uno de los ámbitos donde las movilizaciones fueron contrarrestadas con creciente represión. En este artículo reconstruimos la represión en la UBA atendiendo a las etapas y modalidades que abarcó, reconociendo el pasaje de una lógica centrada en reconquistar la calle a otra enfocada en el ejercicio del terror. Con este trabajo buscamos un diálogo entre la investigación sobre movimiento estudiantil y aquella acerca de la represión en los ‘60 y ‘70, puesto que a pesar de ciertos señalamientos dispersos, no abundan trabajos que conecten ambos campos en torno a lo ocurrido antes de 1976.

Student movenmet was an active part of the political unrest that shook Argentina between the 1966 and the 1976 coups d'état. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) was one of the areas where mobilizations were neutralized with an incerasing repression. This article recontructs teh repression at the UBA, considering its stages and methodsm and the passage from logic or reconvering public spaces to another one based on the practice of terror. The aim of this paper is to bridge the gap between the research on the student movement and teh study of the 1960-70s repression, given the fact that –despite a few exceptions–, only a few works connect both fields for the processes previous to 1976.
