Población indígena en contexto urbano: análisis de los determinantes sociales de la salud, a partir de la información censal

Abstract

El estudio está centrado en dos Áreas Programáticas del Área Metropolitana del Gran Resistencia (AMGR): Mapic y Toba. De acuerdo con la información censal del año 2001, albergan un 45% y 11% respectivamente de hogares constituidos por una o más personas indígenas o descendientes de pueblos indígenas u originarios. En los últimos años incrementaron su demanda, como consecuencia del crecimiento natural y de las políticas habitacionales que beneficiaron al área de influencias. Por este motivo, resulta indispensable, a la hora de desarrollas las acciones de salud, conocer: ¿cuáles son las características demográficas y socioeconómicas de su población? Dentro de este marco, la presente investigación tiene por objetivo caracterizar demográfica y socioeconómicamente las Áreas Programáticas Mapic y Toba, contextualizándolas con el AMGR; teniendo como principal fuente de información al Censo Nacional del Población, Hogar y Vivienda de la República Argentina del año 2010.

The study is focused on two programmatic areas of the Metropolitan Area of the Gran Resistencia (AMGR): Mapic and Toba. According to the census information of the year 2001, these contain a 45% and 11% respectively, of households constituted by one or more indigenous persons or descendants of indigenous or originating peoples. In the last years, these increased its demand, as consequence of the natural growth and the housing policies that benefited the area of influence. For this motive, it is indispensable, to the moment of you develop the actions of health, to know: ¿Which are the demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of its population? Within this framework, the present research has for aim characterize Demographically and socioeconomically, the Mapic and Toba Programmatic Areas, contextualizing them with the AMGR; having as main source of information to the National Census of the Population, Home and Housing of the Argentine Republic of the year 2010.
