Responsabilidad empresarial en la represión a trabajadores durante el terrorismo de Estado: avances recientes sobre la dictadura argentina (1976- 1983) en un marco regional e internacional

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza avances recientes de investigación sobre el tema de la responsabilidad empresarial en la represión a trabajadores y al movimiento sindical durante la última dictadura argentina, en diálogo con otros aportes regionales e internacionales.En primer lugar, aborda algunos hitos de la presencia que tuvo el tema de represión a trabajadores y sindicalistas, así como la participación empresarial en ella, en el proceso de Memoria, Verdad y Justicia en Argentina. En un segundo apartado, se analizan algunas de las contribuciones más importantes de una publicación reciente sobre el tema en un libro de dos volúmenes elaborado conjuntamente por FLACSO, CELS, el Programa Verdad y Justicia y la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos, publicado en diciembre de 2015. En el tercer apartado, se citan algunos otros aportes relevantes sobre la evolución internacional del tema "empresas y derechos humanos", así como contribuciones recientes producidas en algunos países latinoamericanos. En las reflexiones finales, se compartirán algunas ideas sobre la potencialidad de estas investigaciones y los desafíos hacia adelante.

This article analyzes recent contributions on the issue of business responsibility in labor repression during the last Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983) in dialogue with international and regional approaches. Firstly, it reviews examples of the presence of this issue of business involvement in labor repression within the process of Memory, Truth and Justice in Argentina. Secondly, it presents some of the most important findings of a recent book published in 2015, based on a research project on this topic carried on by FLACSO, CELS, the Programa Verdad y Justicia and the Secretaría de Derechos Humanos during 2014 and 2015. Thirdly, it briefly refers to some of the recent contributions both in the international arena and the Latin American region about the issue of business and human rights violations, with specific attention to labor repression. The final remarks, offer a balance and a view about the potential of this research line, as well as possible challenges ahead
