La mirada de Jano: Notas sobre el vínculo entre psicoanálisis y ciencias sociales

Abstract

El presente documento tiene por finalidad acercar una breve reflexión acerca del posible vínculo entre el psicoanálisis y el campo de las disciplinas que integran las ciencias sociales. Todo el trabajo se orienta a sostener dos hipótesis: a) tanto el psicoanálisis como las diferentes disciplinas pertenecientes al amplio campo de las ciencias sociales no se han constituido en forma aislada sino que lo han hecho, desde sus inicios, a partir de un mutuo y fructífero diálogo; b) en efecto, su articulación y los aportes que cada una realiza a la otra no se reducen a un apéndice o agregado accesorio sino que debe pensarse como su extensión necesaria. <br />Así, consideramos al psicoanálisis como un Jano bifronte, en alusión a ese joven dios romano de dos rostros: uno de ellos atento a la singularidad propia del material extraído de la clínica, el otro dirigido hacia las ciencias de la cultura. El camino de reconocimiento de esa mirada ambigua supone el siguiente recorrido: 1) advertir que psicoanálisis y ciencias sociales participan de un mismo momento fundacional; 2) comprender la vocación transdisciplinaria del psicoanálisis; 3) redimensionar el lugar que ocupó la problemática cultural (Kultur) en el pensamiento freudiano.

This document is intended to bring a brief reflection on the possible link between psychoanalysis and the field of disciplines that make up the social sciences. All work is oriented to hold two hypotheses: a) both psychoanalysis and the different disciplines within the broad field of social sciences are not made in isolation but have, since its inception, from a mutual and fruitful dialogue; b) in effect, its articulation and the contributions that each makes to the other can not be reduced to an appendix or added accessory but should be thought of as the extent necessary. Thus, we consider psychoanalysis as Janus-faced, referring to the young Roman god of two faces: one of them attentive to the uniqueness of the extracted material own clinic, the other directed to the science of culture. The road recognition that ambiguous look involves the following route: 1) warn that psychoanalysis and social sciences participate in the same foundational moment; 2) understand the transdisciplinary vocation of psychoanalysis; 3) resize the place occupied by cultural issues (Kultur) in Freudian thought.
