Las minas quiebrapatas: la crónica "Un país de mutilados" de Alberto Salcedo Ramos

Abstract

La prosa cronística contemporánea pone en evidencia la realidad de diferentes zonas de América Latina y sus complejos entramados sociales, en donde la(s) violencia(s) se ha convertido en una experiencia cotidiana. Frente a la crisis de significado que ésta genera, la crónica se configura como un espacio de representación de esa cotidianeidad en la que se entretejen los saberes marginales y orales de sujetos que han atravesado vivencias extremas. La crónica "Un país de mutilados" (2008)del escritor colombiano Alberto Salcedo Ramos aborda uno de los problemas más complejos y acuciantes de la actualidad en Colombia: las minas antipersonal. Este texto organiza en la narración la experiencia de lo indecible, aquello que si bien queda expuesto en el cuerpo de las víctimas y en las retinas de los testigos, no halla expresión sino en el testimonio fragmentado y desgarrador. Este artículo se propone, en primer lugar, realizar un recorrido en torno a la problemática de la crónica como género y, posteriormente, indagar mediante qué estrategias discursivas se representa la(s) violencia(s) en la crónica mencionada teniendo en cuenta los diversos tipos de figuraciones tropológicas propuestas por Hayden White y la presencia fundamental del cronista como articulador del relato.

The contemporary chronicle prose shows the reality of different regions of Latin America and their complex social frameworks, where violence has become a daily experience. In front of the crisis of meaning that it generates, the chronicle becomes a space of representation where the oral outcast knowledge of subjects who have been under extreme experiences have place. The chronicle "A country of mutilated" of the Colombian writer Alberto Salcedo Ramos deals with one of the most complex and urgent problems of present day life in Colombia: the anti person mines. This text organizes in the narration the experience of what cannot be said, that which although it is clearly shown in the bodies of the victims and the retina of the witnesses, it can't find expression unless it is in the fragmented and teary testimony. This article proposes in the first place to make a route around the problem of the chronicle as a gender and later on search through which discursive strategies is violence represented in the mentioned chronicle taking into account the topology figurations proposed by Hayden White and the essential presence of the chronist as the one who articulates the tale.
