Percepción ambiental litoral del visitante en Mar del Sud (Argentina)

Abstract

El crecimiento de un destino depende, en gran parte, de la preservación del entorno natural, que constituye recursos que motivan el interés de los propios visitantes. En este sentido, conocer la percepción de los turistas y excursionistas sobre el estado ambiental es fundamental para planificar el desarrollo turístico e identificar posibles problemas ambientales que alteran la calidad del destino. El espacio en estudio corresponde al litoral de Mar del Sud, localidad balnearia ubicada en el sudeste bonaerense de Argentina, donde se aspira analizar la percepción del visitante sobre el estado ambiental del litoral. La metodología incluye el diseño e implementación de encuestas a turistas y excursionistas, en los meses de enero y febrero del año 2014. El procesamiento de encuestas, permitió identificar expectativas, motivaciones y necesidades de los usuarios del litoral. Los resultados constituyen una herramienta para la gestión integral costera mediante un acercamiento a ciertos actores costeros.

The studio area corresponds to the coast of Mar del Sud, seaside resortlocated in the southeast of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where it aims to analyze the perception of the visitor on theenvironmental status of the coast. The methodology includes the design and implementation of surveys of tourists andhikers in the months of January and February 2014. Processing surveys, helped to identify expectations, motivations andneeds of users of the coast. The results are a tool for integrated coastal management through society.
